Kathy is a well known local professional photographer associated with Porthleven Museum. If you would like to find out more why not visit Kathy on Facebook If you like to purchase kathy’s book ‘The Loe’ you will find it on Amazon - click the image If you are interested in history and Porthleven’s heritage Porthleven Museum has received a grant from the Heritage Lottery enabling us to rebuild the museum’s website containing archive media and will include a genealogy service. Currently being produced is our documentary entitled ‘Talk of the Town’ . This will include interviews with local residents recalling the part they lived through bringing life to Porthleven’s way of life. This will be produced on DVD and will be made freely available to all of our community. and hopefully we will be able to make this available for others to purchase for a reasonable fee as the Museum is a not for profit community organisation. Porthleven Museum archives are donated and accepted in good faith. Should anyone have any cause to believe the museum should not include any of the material donated please visit the museum’s website.
For those who followed Carla Regler’s photography whilst at Seadrift, Porthleven, you can now contact them at their new business ‘Grianaig Guest House’, Isle of South Uist https://www.grianaighouse.com/ We wish them well and I am sure Carla will make the most of the Scottish scenery and add to her stock of images for sale.
